MEMBER'S CHOICE
Member's Choice is a unique feature we built to allow members to have a little more control, should they not wish to receive a "total mystery" in any given month. For 7 days after the renewal or start of your monthly or quarterly plan, you have access to Member's Choice to "lock in" a selection of watches from that current month's rotation. You still get a Mystery, but you know you'll love the watch.
STYLE PROFILER
Unlike other watch subscription and mystery box clubs, at Timepiece Monthly we actually use our unique Style Profiler to match watches to your individual tastes for each and every delivery. In fact, we introduced a "Style Profile Guarantee" for that very reason. If we don't hit 75% of the Style Profile criteria, you are free to exchange the watch, should you not like it, for another watch in our rotation that month.
LOYALTY PROGRAM
Alex and Anthony recognize the importance of loyalty. They therefore wanted to reward members for long-term loyalty and referrals in as many ways as possible.
Using the TPM Loyalty Program area in your TPM dashboard, members can generate custom URL's and share those links with Friends, Family and Followers. For each referred member who signs up to one of the TPM Mystery Box Watch Plans, our system rewards the referring member with a boost of $15 into your Freedom Wallet. So, for every 10 members you refer you can accumulate a bonus $150 for use in our Store.
PRIVATE TRADING GROUP
As prolific Traders, Alex and Anthony knew from day 1 that the key to any successful community would be to have a group built around the needs of watch traders and enthusiasts. Therefore, the TPM Watch Exchange on Facebook was borne. On this platform you can list watches for sale or trade at whim. You can run auctions. You can launch fun, interactive posts with the community. It's a blossoming, fun community that is growing consistently and offers a great, safe place online to sell/trade/auction your watches.
THE TPM STORE
Our TPM Store is a e-commerce shop where we offer amazing choice, value, extra-special pricing, TPM exclusives (e.g. unique watches you won't find outside of TPM) and Mystery Box Watch Bundles. Anyone can access the store, you just need to create a free account with your name, email and address.
FREEDOM WALLET

I Prefer Automatic Movements, Am I Guaranteed an Automatic if That’s What I Prefer?

We do not “guarantee” an automatic movement at any tier, but the simple nature of movement price means that as you move up the tier system, your chances of receiving an automatic rise substantially. For instance, most of the watches in our portfolio, even if quartz, will be a high quality quartz .

As a gauge, the percentage split between automatic vs. other movements (Quartz, Meca-Quartz, Hand Wind and Chronograph) will be approximately as follows:

When Should I Expect my Subscription Watch to Be Shipped?
This will vary due to a range of factors. Firstly, our system checks your style profile and allocates a watch to match to it. If that watch is in stock, you could receive shipping notification within 24-48 hrs. If it is not in stock and needs to be ordered in, then of course shipping will take a little longer. We aim for an average of 14-21 days from your Subscription date but no longer than 30 days Max. On rare occasions, due to factors beyond our control, deliveries may extend beyond 30 days but our guarantee is that we ship as soon as the watch mapped to your profile arrives, assuming it has not been in stock. For Member's Choice orders, these dates can extend to 45 days if all watches selected are out of stock. 
When Do I Get Billed?
As soon as you add a subscription you will be billed in full for that delivery, due to the fact our stock may initiate a match and your watch may ship within as little as 24hrs. Regardless of whether you select Monthly or Quarterly billing, you will be billed instantly, it’s simply the renewal frequency which differs.
The date you sign up will also be the date of your renewal moving forward, so if you sign up to monthly billing on the 1st August, you will be renewed on the 1st of each month thereafter. If you choose quarterly billing you would ultimately renew on the 1st November.
What if my watch Arrives Damaged or Not Working?
We test all watches before they leave our facilities for Quality Control purposes, so it will be incredibly rare that a watch arrives damaged or not working. However, if this is the case, we will offer a manufacturer’s warranty replacement. If your watch stops working sometime after receipt it is a matter of contacting the manufacturer directly.
What is "Trade Equity" & Why Should I Care?

The nature of Mystery Box watches means we cannot guarantee you'll love every single watch you receive. What we guarantee you is that the experience is superb and that, should you wish to trade your new timepiece or sell it, the "Trade Equity" is high as possible.

 

What that means is that you don't lose 50% of the value of the watch the day you receive it and the style, while sometimes bold (and perhaps "not for you") is something that is highly sought after by others in the community.

 

The term "Trade Equity" is a term we coined to describe the value of the timepiece in the marketplace. As avid watch enthusiasts and traders ourselves, we know watches and the market and hand pick watches for our members which tick all the boxes of quality, value and trade-ability.

 

This is why our members are long-term TPM'ers. Because they know the quality and value is there on the watches they receive every month.

What is the "Member's Choice" Feature?
Member's Choice is an exclusive Timepiece Monthly Feature that revolutionizes the Mystery Box watch club concept. Each member on Crown Plan or above gets access to Member's Choice for 7 days after each plan renewal (or first plan), whereby they can view a broad selection of the current rotation of watches in any given month and "lock in" a chosen range (from 3 x watches upward), for their next delivery.
This means the experience of Mystery is still there, but the member knows that they have chosen a range of watches that they would love to receive. 
Is the Subscription Price Exclusive of Sales Tax?
Subscriptions are net of sales tax or VAT - all Sales Tax or VAT will be added at a State-rate (US) zero rated, for Member sales outside of the US. If you are outside the US, then you will be liable for any import or local sales tax charged by your country/state/city. We find these fees normally work out lower than they would be with a straight sales tax being added upon checkout, so members benefit.

I Have an Ethical Objection to Leather. Can you Guarantee I will Not Receive a Leather Strap?
Yes, in an effort to accommodate the many members in our community who have an ethical concern over leather, we will always aim to ensure you will not receive a Leather Strap as part of your kit. If you happen to in error, please contact Customer Service and we will take care of that for you.
Will I Receive Tracking When My Watch Ships?
Yes, our system will notify you of tracking via email as soon as your label is raised.
What is The “Value” of my Watch in the Marketplace? Do You Offer a Low-Price Guarantee?

Our watch portfolio has been specifically built to offer superb value for members at all levels. We always endeavor that our watches will be of equal or greater value to the sub price you pay.

The owners of TPM are prolific Watch traders in the community. They understand the intrinsic principles of watch values and fluctuations “in the market” and the nature of watch trading.

So, if you find your watch online for less than sub price, due to a manufacturer discount in any given month, a random eBay auction, or a desperate private sale trying to clear cash, please treat it for what it is; a transient discount that we have no control over. Most watches in our portfolio you will find online for substantially more than sub price, at any given time, but due to the nature of the industry we cannot guarantee prices or offer exchanges, refunds or returns.

When we order watches, we check they are not available online from reputable dealers any less than our sub prices at that time, and therefore this is the measurable we use. We cannot guarantee instant alterations by manufacturers or retailers after that moment. In the unlikely event that your Mystery box watch experiences this type of transient fluctuation, please understand that it is a moment in time, and the value will likely rise again in due course.

We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds on Mystery Box watches as a result of this, but we have a excellent private trading group on Facebook where you can buy/sell/trade watches. We urge members to utilize Trade Value (TV) at or above their subscription price (e.g. swap a Sapphire watch for a Sapphire Watch or place the Sale value at and above Sub Price).

Does TPM Offer Refunds, Returns or Exchanges on Mystery Box Watches?

We do not offer returns, exchanges or refunds on Mystery Box watches, but we have private trading groups you can gain access to as a member, where you can buy/sell/trade watches. We urge members to utilize Trade Value (TV) at or above their subscription price (e.g. swap a Sapphire watch for a Sapphire Watch or place the Sale value at and above Sub Price). 

We do have two major guarantees which allow for exchanges. The "First Time Member" Guarantee states if you don't like your first watch with TPM you can return it for an exchange for another Mystery Watch.

Similarly, our Style Profile Guarantee states that if we ship a watch to you that doesn't match at least 75% of your completed Style Profile questions, you have the right to exchange it for another, better matched Mystery Watch. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for all details.

What Happens if You Receive a Watch You Don't Like?

The nature of a mystery/surprise subscription service in watches is incredibly exciting for members. That feeling of unboxing is like Christmas every month and especially due to the fact TPM hand wraps all our watches for members and bundles free accessories, to enhance that experience.

Of course, you may receive the watch of your dreams every month, you may receive a watch that you just don't gel with or you simply may wear and love the watch a while and then wish to sell it or trade it on for something else. That's the subjective nature of watch collections. 

So, to cater for this we have our Facebook trading groups which are fun and engaging for the community and that all active watch subscriptions get access to, and the facilities are there to buy/sell and trade with other TPM members, who number into the 1,000's.

As a result, we do not offer exchanges, returns or refunds if you don't like the watch you receive. However, you should find superb "Trade Equity" in TPM subscription watches as they have been hand-picked for our members to offer superb quality and high demand in the community and because, unlike other watch subscription services, we only use real, genuine Brands and not mushroom brands such as Resultco, Montrichard and so on.

FAQ - Style Profiler

What is Your “Style Profiler”?
Our Style Profiler is like nothing that has ever been on the market. We use it to guide our decisions on what watches in our portfolio to deliver to our members. While this is a “blind” subscription we have custom built a system that matches your preferred Styles, Sizes, Colors and Band Materials to our available portfolio, as well as giving you the option of identifying a "dealbreaker", i.e. the "thing" in a watch you absolutely do not want to receive (e.g. gold, quartz). Our team then hand-matches what we feel is the best value watch for you in your specific plan, right now.
STYLE PROFILER - How Much Control Do I Have?

The nature of our unique Style Profiler means that members have vastly greater control over the style, size, color and kit on the Mystery Box watches they will receive, than any other subscription platform has ever afforded.

 

We do use the Style Profiler and our system to guide each decision our system makes with regards to what watch you receive in any given month.

 

While the "ideal" is that every factor matches your style profile, the nature of Mystery Box subscriptions, as well as available stock, means that on occasion we won't be able to match all, or any factors and in some instances may only be able to match one or two preferences in any given month.

 

Our goal in those instances where this is unavoidable, or the color tone of a watch is seemingly more risky (e.g. a gold, rose gold or bronze watch) is that we simply offer members a great deal of value within the Mystery Watch box so they have incredible "Trade Equity" with which to trade up using their Mystery Box watch, on our platform or elsewhere.

 

We make no guarantees that the wristwatch you receive will match a specific component of your style profiler, but as our system refines and our available portfolio widens over the coming months, there is no doubt you should expect a continued improvement in how our system matches watches to members' profiles. 

How Do I Edit My Style Profiler?

THE STYLE PROFILER - Do You Guarantee Accuracy?

While we use your Style Profile for every single subscription watch, we cannot guarantee that any or all of the 5 existing criteria will perfectly match the watch you receive.

 

The nature of the Style Profiler makes it an incredibly complex task to do so. However, we have found it to be exceptionally successful.

 

In any given month you may find the watch matched to you matches 3/5 or all 5/5 of the Style Profiler components, but due to the complexity of the endeavor we reserve the right to match any of all 5 options (Style, Size, Color, Band Material and Movement).

 

We've also found members who received a watch that matches 1-2/5 of the style profile components have been incredibly surprised and happy with the newly discovered love for a watch they never thought they would love. Similarly, some members who receive a watch that matches all 5/5 of the Style Profiler components have simply not fallen in love with the watch. The key is that we, at TPM, provide incredible "Trade Equity" where the watches members receive are worth much more than the price of subscription, in the open Marketplace.

 

As long-term members, you will ultimately find that not only do we more often than not match watches in our portfolio exceptionally well on average, but as we move forward matching will simply become better and better and better as our breadth of portfolio widens and new Brands continue to hop aboard the TPM train.

FAQ - Freedom Plan & Freedom Wallet

What is the Freedom Plan?

Freedom Plan is an exclusive, custom-built wallet system for TPM members. Every member can have a Freedom Plan. The unique feature of the Freedom Plan is that members can save funds into their TPM Wallet for use in the TPM Store. Minimum monthly or quarterly deposits in the TPM Wallet are $49.

The Freedom Plan therefore represents a great qay to squirrel away wallet funds for purchasing on an automated schedule of your preference.

How Does Freedom Plan Work?
Freedom Plan is a unique concept in the marketplace, that we created to offer maximum flexibility for our members. Freedom Plan starts at $99 per month and allows members to create a Wallet Balance in the TPM platform, that they can utilize to buy watches in our Members-Only Store. The Freedom Plan can be set at ANY dollar amount upward of $99, completely at the member's discretion.
Can I have Multiple Freedom Plans?
Yes, you can. We have Monthly & Quarterly Freedom Plans available (and you can have any number of each operating on your account at any given time). 
When Do I Get Billed?
As soon as you add a subscription you will be billed. Regardless of whether you select Monthly or Quarterly billing, you will be billed instantly, it’s simply the renewal date (e.g. monthly or quarterly) that will differ.

Do I Have to Choose Between Mystery Boxes and Freedom Plan?
No. By default, every active member can "have" a Freedom Plan on their account and it is not mutually exclusive from Mystery Box Plans - whether a stand-alone Freedom Plan, or in addition to any number of Mystery Box Plans. For instance, some members have a monthly Crown Plan, Quarterly Sapphire Plan and monthly Freedom Plan at $250, all running concurrently.
What is the Freedom Wallet?
The Freedom Wallet is where Freedom Plan funds go. The Freedom Plan effectively is a pre-payment or layaway system where funds accrue in the Freedom Wallet for redemption at a time of your choosing, in our Members-only Store. 
Your Freedom Wallet balance is always visible in your dashboard and when checking out for a watch, if you wish to use the Freedom Wallet balance just make the selection during the checkout process and your balance will automatically adjust. 
How Do I Use My Freedom Plan Funds?

The TPM Store is a superb place to buy Microbrand watches - We have the facility for members to buy watches and accessories using Credit/Debit Card, Freedom Wallet Funds, Paypal, as well as both Apple Pay and Google Pay. Visit the Store here 

Can I Boost My Freedom Wallet Funds?

There are 2 x ways to boost your Freedom Wallet balance. The TPM Loyalty Program is a way for TPM to say thank you to our loyal fanbase. TPM members are automatically subscribed to the Loyalty Program and can access this in their TPM dashboard at any time, where they receive unique individual URL links that they can then share with friends, family, email subscribers, social media followers, etc. For every new monthly or quarterly Mystery Box subscriber that clicks that link and signs up with TPM, the Loyalty Program member will receive an instant $15 voucher into their TPM Freedom Wallet.

FAQ - Member's Choice Feature

What is "Member's Choice"?

The Member’s Choice feature is a unique concept in the Mystery Box industry. Each month or quarter, depending on your plan frequency, you will now be able to “lock in” from 3 models upward, in our current Mystery rotation (no max), if you so desire. All Mystery Box plans will default to be a “Total Mystery” after the 7 day window closes, and in this scenario our team will match a Mystery watch to your individual Style Profile and ship within 21-30 days of sub payment.

Use of the Member’s Choice feature is limited to Crown, Bezel, Crystal and Sapphire Plans (not available on our entry "Nato" plan, or our Tourbillon plan).

Is Member's Choice Available Every Month?
Yes! Every renewal for a Mystery/Surprise box bundle will allow a window of 7 days for the member to use the Member's Choice feature to "lock in" their preferred selection of watches from that month's rotation. 
Why Was Member's Choice Created?
We recognize that the experience of a Mystery Box is where the fun is. We also recognize that in any (or every) given month, a member may wish to have more control over the watch they receive. Therefore, we created Member's Choice as a way for members to have more control, should they desire and select a handful of watches they know they'd love to receive (from 3 upward) and our team would then select one and create a custom bundle around it. 
Can I Exchange or Refund a Member's Choice Watch if I Don't Like it?
No. The transparent nature of the Member's Choice facility means you void any of our active exchange guarantees. For instance, the "First Time Member" guarantee and the Style Profile Guarantee. If you receive a Member's Choice watch and do not end up liking it for any reason, you should trade or sell it in the TPM Private Trading Group on Facebook.

SHIPPING & THE STORE

When Will my Store Purchase Ship?

Due to the large range of products we sell, from pre-sale watches, bundles, new launches and hand-curated specials, our normal shipping schedule applies (14-21 days avg), but this can extend in some instances due to the nature of the special products we curate.

For instance, we will from time to time launch a special product drop, which has not been released yet. In this instance, we will state an expected ship date, which is normally no longer than 60 days from date of opening the launch.

As another example, with our hand-curated or themed bundles, sometimes we open a special curated box, then curate the bundles, and can be waiting on special stock for some time. These again follow a longer fulfillment schedule, around 30 days or more (but are always worth the wait and at the best value available anywhere).

Shipping Rates
As of March 2021, all of our watch shipments ship out of our US-based distribution center. You will therefore be billed a net value (no tax added) if you reside outside of the continental US.
We offer a range of shipping options for store purchases. All USPS purchases are a flat rate $9.99, which sometimes just covers our cost to ship, often not. We do also offer expedited shipping via Fedex Priority at $29.99
For Worldwide shipping, we ship via USPS First Class International as standard at a flat rate $22.99 to Canada, with Rest of World shipping at $34.99 and Fedex Priority International available for $59.99
